...and keep secure thine neighbours.

Well, I just received an email from a friend with subject line that said 'Biggest Robbery!'. No I am not a blogger-of-daily-emails (as is evident from the history of this blog; I don't blog from emails and I definitely do not blog daily :), but then there was something about this one that made me log onto my account on blogger and start typing all this out.

Beside the blatantly glaring truth in the picture it had attached in it (which I've duly posted here for your viewing pleasure as well) the email also contained a line in bold font with the words '...soon this will be forgotten' ending it.
Hmm... now where have we heard of something befitting that line before? The first few questions that came to my head were, true message of Peace? Our responsibilities in being vicegerents of Almighty God on this earth? (err... vicegerent anyone?) Teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) endorsinglove for our neighbours? The thoughts just kept coming on and on and on...
The point is, this email made me think; it made me think about a lot of things at one time and a whole lot of others in quick succession. To the lay man this picture might seem like the truth, whereas to the knowledgeable researcher of world history (naah, I'm not claiming to be one) it would seem to be precisely the same.
